Two discontinued, but fondly recalled, Chrysler products are seen here. DeSoto was a cut below the big Chryslers of the day, and Plymouth was a cut below The Dodge Line.

The DeSoto pictured here is a real beauty, and the Plymouth Police car is a replica of the one used in the old USA Tv series "Adam-12".

DeSotos, a bigger, heavier vehicle could really fly. And the lightweighted Plymouths, were rockets. They used sixes all the way up to big MOPAR engines, and were a favorite with Police and Hot-rodders as well

If you don't think the front of a DeSoto is sexy, you better go ahead and bury yourself right now!

      So true, Signaholic!!!!

Thanks for the input, and for the love!

I wonder if the hood ornament on the DeSoto lit up when the lights were on? The face was of an amber plastic 0r glass. Such illumination would have added to the aura of this wonderful car!!!

I just love the old cars each one so very individual!....and the insides of them well..WOW!!!....everything today looks to have been made from the same mould and you can’t tell one from the other.. all these you have posted are beautiful!...:-)

Thank you inky! The car designers of days gone by truly were given free reign in developing their products.

I am happy that many of these beauties have survived and that they are lovingly cared for by their owners.

And i am glad that I can share some of the images of the old cars with friends such as you on CW.....

Thank you again, for your kind thoughts and comments....
