A History of the United States for Schools by Alexander Johnston - 1892

I think that this was the first standard American History book for schools. It was first published in 1885 and this is an 1892 version in wonderful condition. I picked it up in a little antique store near where i grew up. it's very interesting looking at how the history has changed over time. So much of it is based more on what someone wanted to believe rather than on what happened.
