Hello,
I didn't have much time to shop today, but what time I did have yielded some wonderful items.
This is very interesting,.....what is it?
The style looks Deco late 20's ~ 30's, and it has curious star cut outs,....look like the star of David,....could it be?
A friend told me it was a miss, that I'd wasted my money, but I love it.
Approximately 10" inches high, and unmarked as far as I can tell.
Any ideas???
Grazie,
Tony.
This is stunning:) love this very much:)
Thanks for the loves and comment, Sean, MustangTony and Musikchoo!
your very welcome Tony!!!!
If you actualy put a paper in it you wouldn't see it's beauty!
Art Deco Newspaper Display Stand, from a corner news stand. I use to come across these fairly often, but haven't seen one in years.
A remarkable item, I'd say!
It stands at an angle?
A miss?
No way!
On target!
Thanks Walksoftly, Rocker-SD and Kevin,
and Rocker, great bit of news, big Thank You!
and Kevin,
Yes, it stands at an angle,....it's a very cool piece! Thanks for your kind words,
T
Found some references to this being made by Chase in the 30's, I assume they are referring to the Chase Brass and Copper Company.

No guarentee that this info is correct.
Thoughts????
Walksoftly,
It just may trace back to the Chase Brass & Copper Company, but I'll keep an eye out for any other possibilities.
Thanks for all of the great links.
Have a good night,
Tony.
Thanks for the looks and loves, Blunderbuss and Hunter!
Thats a good idea, the info is anecdotle at best, hopefully someone else can supply a more reliable source than ebay.
Good night,Tony.
Thanks for the loves, Blunderbuss, Hunter, Bootson, Belltown, and aeon!, much appreciated
