1947-48 Dutch Tahbes Synchro. A bare metal camera made of shiny nickel which uses 120 rollfilm. A telescoping lens tube with one shutter speed and two aperture settings. A distinctive Albada viewfinder sits on top. Don't touch this camera unless you want finger prints.

One of my favorites and hard to find. Yours is in great condition!
Mine is a different variation with a sliding red-window cover on the back:

Thank You and yes, they seem to be somewhat rare. The fact that visually they are very distinctive is one of the features I like ( very different style with the all metal body). I have seen that version and actually like it better. Down side is the finger prints luckily this one came with a leather case (#4 pic). Maybe one day I will be able to find and buy a Gallus Derlux (it has been on the list for a while).

You inspired me to upload my Derby-Lux. Best of luck on your search!

I would love one of these, especially as it is a 120 roll film camera (lovely large colour ransparencies, or negs); I have a recently acquired Gallus Derlux which takes very nice pictures, "16 on" each roll of 127 film (effectively a half frame 127 roll film camera). You need to keep the Peek Polish handy for a buff up of the bare metal every few days!
