Another score for sticker change Sunday at GW. Waited all week because I knew this would be half price today with it's blue price tag. Amazing it was not chipped or broken. It is so delicate. It does have some hard water mineral deposit haze around the neck which is tricky to remove. I found one online just like it on an antique auction site. So the ID is spot on. I checked the 20th Century glass website and it appears to be Venini -Murano but it's not signed or labeled. The bubble inclusions are typical of their work though. The handles are pencil thin but surprisingly strong. It's a beautiful pale blue green they call "seafoam". As I was leaving the store with this in hand a guy stopped and asked me what the sticker colors were. He saw the vase and said that it was a beautiful piece and that he had seen it as well. I think I beat him to the punch.... I felt bad, but just for a second.

Really stunning...love it!!!
Mike you really scored!!! I have been in your shoes...and felt bad..but just a second :) BTW you are lucky to have a GW that does discounting..none in California have it. XO
Thanks Moonstone :) Well..not all GW's discount in Ohio. This one is in the Cleveland area so they also have a rewards card too. None of the others I shop at do any kind of discount. I'm not really sure of the reason. I think it has something to do with the stores size and if it's main store and not a satellite location.
Pity it's near the neck as I have found strident tablets to do the trick if it can be covered. Very nice.
Thanks, Zowie I'll have to try that :)
Pretty... And I love the kitty picture...
Thanks DrFluffy...and that's my Benji he's well over 20 happy and healthy !
Yes it is and the pontil isn't rough either .
stunning!!!
Not if the label fell off :)
I think this one is smaller they don't give a size in the description. Shape is slightly different too. It seems too cheap price wise as well, but it is close. Venini did use clear labels and older pieces are usually etched on the bottom. The air bubble pattern is one of their designs. Here's the two links I looked at.

It was a starting point. None of the other Murano glass uses the bubble pattern that's why I went with Vernini.
Anythings possible. I wouldn't think the bubble technique was strictly used by Murano but the shape sure seems to be Italian.
Yes, I remember seeing pulegoso somewhere too. Glass drives me crazy..lol
That's pretty, it's a tiny little thing. Wonder what it sold for. I think mine would be quite expensive unlike the first auction I looked at. It seems to be of better quality too.
Lost my internet connection for a bit........Yep you're right ! They become almost like narrow lines as they travel up the neck to the rim. I looked everywhere for a signature. The base's edge is very scratched so it's been dragged across a lot of tables over the years. There was a small sticky area were a label might have been near the neck.
Mike the one with the link doesn't have the sticker on the vase nor they are showing the sticker , but you have to remember Venini glass is very very very expensive and I have to say the seller on that site doesn't say it is venini . I say they this is a very stunning vase , Mike as well be very very careful when buying this type of glass :)
That is true the label fell of :) but still be very very very careful .
I would say it is murano bullicante. but not venini. im just trying to help you :) its a stunner by all means.
Thanks for all the help everyone :) Seems Vernini is in question so I'll remove it from the title and still see if I can research the exact factory and artist.
Hi glad I maybe was of some help, I hope it did work
