    Kerry 10456 recently posted a very nice 1939 Ingersoll Donald Duck pocket watch, with the original box and 'Mickey Mouse' decal on the case back (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/97643-1939-donald-duck-pocket-watch). However, according Jim & Merlyn Collins' book (Character & Novelty Clocks & Watches) and the Hake's Auctioneers, they suggested that the 'Mickey Mouse' decal was introduced to increase sales at the time and some were sold with a plain case back like this one here. The more desirable version for collectors will of course be the one with the decal.
