This is an original WW1 era photograph (silver, gelatin print) of a pilot who had a rough time landing and sent the nose over.
The pilot stands at the nose of the plane, which has a factory camo pattern.
I do not know the name on the pilot, but I am sure that he got a good ribbing over this landing!
