That's my point everything made back then was made to last but also had style of its own as if made with pride.
The smaller one is a Geoffrey Baxter design patern No: 9777 lobed foot with controlled bubbles and is the middle size of this type. I'm delighted with finding out its make !! Just the other one now ..
That would make sense as it came from a well established hotel in Dublin which dates back to 1820's I just love the look of it and how it was put together thanks for the information @ttomtucker
I know the dust is easy enough removed but I'm tempted to shine it up !! Il leave it for another day I'm already in the middle of something else. Thanks again take care and be lucky. Regards Jamie.
I have bitten the bullet! I have dismantled the door and decided to sand back to wood and polish up the bells and front plate! Fingers crossed
