I noticed while looking close and at an angle it shows small almost wave like texture inside, is this a common characteristic of amber?
Thank you, idcloisonne! I did look at yours and it's the closest image I could find that looked similar to mine. So if it is asian I take it the origin of the amber must be too, so possibly not Baltic...
Weight is 41grams
So I read the article and did the 1 part salt 2 part water - it did float like a champ! I did the lick test and no taste just a little sensation on the tongue, and put rubbing alcohol on a inconspicuo...
