My main passion in life is WWII and most of my hobbies are based around it. I like to read about all different theaters of operations as well as study original war-time publications (Life, Yank, Signal). I've been involved with WWII Reenacting for about 10 years and much of my collecting is influenced by that. My main impression is a German soldier of the 709. ID in the Normandy campaign of 1944. In no way shape or form is the hobby political, we merely seek to learn about history from the perspective of the common German soldier. Check out my organization's website at my link below. I also play WWII computer games, table top games as well as build 1/35 scale models. I have a real passion for WWII history and hope some day to work for a military museum. I'm currently finishing my business degree at a university in western Michigan and hope to start doing veteran interviews once I have more spare time.
