I found a Yellow Majolican decanter/Claret Jug while catching up on my cataloguing. I did not realise it was Japanese. Will post it shortly.

Just a thought about bringing out the signature on a matte surface. Rub over it lightly with a soft black lead pencil. The signature will appear lighter. Would show you a photo but can't.
Absolutly right Rose I don't know where I got R from the signature is "Emile K". I have amended the original request. Ross
The bottom is rounded and the blue surface is more like a "paint" than say due to frit. Ross
