interestingly the lid fits almost as though they belonged together, but the materials don't match and I suspect the ages are different...somewhere there is another basket with a mismatched lid wishing...
style is called tulip bag.....looks to be in very nice condition.

yes, Plains blanket strip...not made much anymore but I did one for a friend recently
