They are French, it is not of the higher quality when it comes to painting, but still a nice piece, the period seems to be early 20th century on this. Even on the high quality pieces the marks are spu...
The condition is great and you sure have a beautiful gem here. These must be very collectible, something like book presses always getting big prices.
