1967 Benelli Barracuda 250 Scrambler un-restored classic

Here's a few pics of my latest un-restored rescue. When I bought it, it had been parked and sitting in a garage since late '68 or '69 with only 2010 original miles on it. I'm now just the second owner after all these years! Once I got through all the layers of grime, dust, and crust, this little bike that you see now was hiding underneath it all, patiently waiting to hit the road again.
It's a 1967 Benelli 250 Barracuda scrambler. These had 250cc(245cc actually) 4-stroke push-rod type OHV engines. They used 4 & 5 speed transmissions, this scrambler is a 4 speed. It runs like a champ, & is tons of fun to run around the country. These little bikes have amazing power for a 250 & are a blast on secondary & back roads, hills, twisty's, etc, but will also move along plenty more than fast enough for the interstate. It's a very happy little bike now that it's odometer is finally spinnin' again!
