Another basket case telephone that need to be restored. This Siemens & Halske intercom was manufactured around 1915. As you can see by the before and after photo's, the deskset need help. I had the case sand blasted and re-powder coated. most of the parts have been re-nickeled.
Really beautiful job ! So, this could connect to up to 25 diff. other intercoms .

I know you like telephones, and at about 3:40 in there is a very strange contraption around an operator's neck that holds the speaker and transmitter.

That was a Bell Telephone Company switchboard operators's blake transmitter and long pole receiver breast plate from the 1880's. the harness and gear weight about 10.5 pounds.
