Here's an old book that I got from an Estate Sale a few years ago.
"Lady's Book" "1863" It has everything a lady should know in 1863. Well maybe! The pictures are great, fashions of the day, patterns, recipes, new fangled gadgets! A fun book to look at! :^)
I've chosen some pictures of interest, as an example, if you would like to see a few more, I'll post another four!
Thanks for looking!
Love the pics in book!
Thank you Mrstyndall, there's a lot of detail in the prints.
Thanks for the love, and from you too scottvez! :^)
That's ok valentine, you made to the first post, all good! :^) Thank you for the love!
Thank you all for stopping by and checking this cool old book out! I wish I could show the whole thing, I just flipped through, stopped on a page and took a picture, it's all like this, so hard to choose! :^) Thanks so much for all the loves!!!
I love the illustrations Bill!
Yes Rick, so do I! :^) These Godey Fashion Prints are what we see framed, for wall art all the time!
Thanks for stopping by, I know that you're trying to catch up on what you've missed for the last few days! There's been a lot of posts too, so you're an awfully busy guy today! LOL Good to have ya back!
LOL, Yes very busy. It took the better part of two hours!
billretirecoll, Just for grins, here are links to the corresponding images in the archive dot org e-copy.
I used single page view links, because there seems to be slightly different pagination between your hard copy and the hard copy that archive dot org used to create their e-copy:

In the case of the next two images, it does seem like a couple pages might be missing from your hard copy:
