This was a piece from a family estate sale. Does anyone know what this is (Chinese/Japanese) and a possible age? I believe it's at least from early 1900's or before as the owners remember it and it belonged to their grandmother. Any help would be VERY welcome!
Thx-
Laura

I really love how it's all cluttered, so the longer you look the more you see.
Nice!
this is a Japanese plate - Imari, i think.
Looks like a version of eight Chinese immortals.
7 people so probably Jurojin, Daikoku, Fukorokujo, Hotei, Benten, Ebisu and Bishamon
i agree or early , or late meijji, i tend to late fin de siecle
and i think it is underestimated, the reverse garlands are quite rare , is some additional value
finally believe i have seen the garlands reacently it was defined as late meijji
