I think that this is late Qing - by the color of the iron oxide glaze. I'm waiting to hear back from some of the experts. this piece does have some damage - chipping, but it's not that visible. it's a pretty piece. i'm contemplating planting something in it. my planted pots have been selling very well at the nursery.
I have the matching ginger jar. Color, pattern, material the same.
do you have it posted SpiritBear? i'd love to see it!
Not yet, ho2cultcha. I just repaired it a few days ago, as I bought it with broken lid. Someone had tried repairing it in the past, but that began to fall apart again.

this is rather well longevity shou , garlands in the rim this is typically late guanghu run out , the garlands makes me think it,s is around 1920
thanks apostata. you are probably correct. i sold this piece by auction and it went up into the hundreds, if that means anything.
