This was one of those "Had to get it, because I've never seen one before" Flea Market finds, on Sunday 11/11/18. It's a Bar Counter Top Beer Can Opener, made by "SIMCAR CO MACLAND RD MARIETTA GA" "PAT 2569123" Is marked on the front and side of the base plate. The Opener is made of Aluminum, and opens the Beer, or Soda(before Pop Top/Pull Tabs), cans by punching in a drink hole, and air vent hole, in the top of the can, using a lever and spring action, that forces two triangle steel cutters, into the top of the can, with the larger drinking hole, folded to the edge of the can, and the smaller, vent hole folded down into the center of the can top, by forcing the can against the stop, on the bottom of the lever bracket, where it connects to the baseplate. There's two counter-sunk holes on the front of the baseplate, for mounting screws, to connect to the Bar Counter Top. The Opener is 14" tall, with the 9" lever, and the base plate is 8" F to B, and 4 3/4"wide, and is for a 2 1/2"+- Can.
This Opener was probably made in the mid-1940's to mid-1960's, but I haven't found any information on it! :^D

Thank you for looking, and I hope this is something you haven't seen either! All comments are welcome! :^)
