I found what looks like an older tool in an estate sale. Have looked under bonsai and other gardening tools but can't identify it. Have also searched under grape scissors, wire snips, other hand tools to no avail. I'm totally stumped and hope you can help me ID this neat cutting tool. Thanks!

I did a search under antique scissors/snips images and found a pair like yours listed as metalworker/silversmith snips.

Thanks so much, hunterqlee, for giving me some direction as to the use of these unusual scissors. I have several artist friends who work in silver and who can confirm your answer to this query. I appreciate your knowledge and your time.

Hello, I agree on metalworker snips. There may be a similar tool made by WISS. Regards, Lou

I have an identical pair that I use for cutting thin (.01") copper and brass contacts. Mine are marked near the blade, "ROTATORIES" with "West Germany" under it.
