Well, it isn't pretty, big, or expensive, but it works for a 14 year old rookie. Got some more great additions since my last post of my entire collection. Nothing is reproduction.

For a 14 year old, you are doing very well. That is around the age I started collecting too. I commend you on purchasing no reproductions.
You can thank Ray for that, he's been helping me with coke stuff ever since I first posted here.
nice collection cocacolakid97 i knew you were young but not that young lol. keep going i would love to see what you have 5 - 10 years from now.
As I get older, I will have a job and better coca cola street smarts. So I won't be suprised if I get better quality stuff in the near future.
You're doing this the right way cckid97. Having the smarts before the bucks is the way to go. Being 47 like me and just getting started, can be dangerous. "More money than brains" sometimes applies! :)
14! Great age to get started!
And keeping away from repros is a great strategy.
But just one thing: eventually, even repros become antiques...*wink*
Cheaper 70s-80s reproductions may not be your thing now, but you are young enough to see these become sought after "antiques".
Now I don't mean those store bought reproduction tins and cheap/chic kitchen stuff, I mean the reproductions made by Coke as advertisements in stores and markets.
The one we talked about so much yesterday was one of these. It was distributed as in the frame you saw yesterday to bars and cafes by Coke around the 80s (or so) and I still see some today, so that makes it an original, just not tin.
Let's just call it an original reproduction....lol
So, all this said,
You are young enough to collect not-so-old memorabilia and advertisements so as to see them become valuable.
Trust me, most of us have wanted to kick ourselves many times, after seeing something or other that has become valuable, and we just threw it away back then...
