We have an endangered Red Legged Frog here in California, but a Blue Glass Frog, how rare is that!!? :^D Thanks for the post Jenni, I love it! :^)
He's my favourite upload of yours this week- he is a seriously beautiful frog! I love his deep blue colour which is very unusual in a frog- they're usually green and yellow I think? His is great, and his pose is very dynamic- I imagine him on a rain forest leaf just ready to jump! :P
Beautiful color, Jenni!
So much glass. I love glass so much, but one thing I know, and thats the glass has to be clean, then the magic happens, love the frog !~
Thank you so much for the thoughtful love

Lol bobby, my zoo does not require feeding, cleaning or vet bills, just a bit of dusting! Thank you so much for the fun comment & giving me a smile :)
Thanks Bill for the super compliment, yes I think a blue frog would kind of shake up the other frogs lol. Love to see your red legged frog & hope they can work on making it unendangered
Many thanks keramikos for the great compliment and very helpful info on the other glass frogs, you know I also have a green one by Viking that sits on a lily pad, now that I look at it the shape is very like this Mosser! The glass cos did often copy from each other and share molds, Mosser particularly got a lot from Heisey
Lauren I'm so happy this blue frog is your fave of mine this week, he certainly does look active and poised to jump, I like when animals have a bit of personality. Thank you my friend for the wonderful comment and insights
Thank you MrsT for the lovely compliment, I agree cobalt blue is a nice shade, and a thick piece like this often will have purple undertones
Phil thank you for the fantastic compliment, I really do have a lotta glass animals, lately I have been getting them from other countries as I've about exhausted the American lines. Totally agree, glass must look clean in the photos, mine always get a wet then dry wipedown before filming, but it's hard to avoid a finger smudge here and there - if you wear gloves, an animal can slip thru your hands & break (I know, I've tried it)
Thank you Vynil for the thoughtful love it is always greatly appreciated
Here Jenni, a link for information on the California Red Legged Frog:

Good info on the Red Legged Frog but the photo of it is small, an image search for California Red Legged Frog, will give a better look! :^D We would find them every once in a while in the 1990s, but rarely see them now, too many of the small Streams, and Marshes have been covered over with Developments in the area, even after it was put on the Endangered Species List, because it was poorly managed, or enforced! :^(
Hi Bill, thanks so much for the super info on the CA red legged frog, how interesting the red is mostly on the underside of their legs. It is so sad that people destroyed a good part of their wetlands habitat, but great that CA is hard at work restoring it, so I hope this breed will soon be off the endangered list. They are adorable froggies!
Thank you KinkiPlz and Penny for the love it is gratefully appreciated

Hi Kevin & many thanks for your super compliments & love! Just wanted you to know I saw this exact Mosser frog in the same cobalt color on one of the sites starting with "e" only a few days ago, hope it is still available for you :) It's a pretty cool design and I like that the body has an almost reptilian sheen like real frogs have
