Weapons Wednesday Mortar Round Carrying Case

One can never have too many random pieces of militaria. And this would be one of them. This is for the M 252 81mm mortar. It is a British designed weapon used by the US Army and Marines. The round would be the M 889 which is a high explosive round thus the fancy smancy carrying case. There could be a big boom or something like that if mishandled.
Dimensions on this are 20" x 3 1/2" long. Perfect for putting things of that dimension in it.
This is a very high quality plastic carrying case. It is water proof so you can take your mortar round swimming with you. Great fun at parties!
