Cast iron fences were all the rage during the Victorian period. The Stewart Iron Works Company was one of many that produced artful fences. This badge from their Covington, KY branch was installed on a fence whose provenance is long gone. Thankfully the badge still exists. Taking photos of glass framed objects is not my forte. No matter what angle there is always some reflection. Why I didn't photo it before I put it in the frame is beyond me. Maybe next time.
Cool badge :)
Thanks Trey.
wow bet that's rare and hard to find...
