This time I am featuring the figure and accessories. There are so many accessories I need Captain Maddox to help out. This is a JWA Maddox and he was missing many of his proper colored accessories so this worked out well.
Now I figure Custer would not carry many of these pieces definitely not a bugle. Pretty much what I gave him was the binocular case, pistol and sword and wearing the officer's hat. Maddox has the canteen are carbine strap. Custer would have someone else carry his canteen.
Back in the long ago C uster was considered a hero. There was even a Custer TV show and the figure is based on that actor.
Another nice share. I remember the show, it gor cancelled after about 6 weeks due to protests supposedly. It wasn't that good of a show anyway, the ratings may have added to it being cancelled. Yeah they alter history by political correctness often now, I have no problem if it's consistent, but there's selective outrage that cucifies some and excuses other. I think each individual should determine that and not let the media, etc. determine it for you. There was plenty of abuse of Native Americans by MANY individuals. Custer l, from what I've read, was a Girl Scout compared to some of his contemporaries, that recieve very very little criticism. I'm not saying any of them were correct, but either try them all or vindicate them all for equal crimes.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. People use today's sensibilities to judge the past. I believe it was a shock of cultures meeting back then which were radically different. It was stone age vs late renaissance when Columbus landed. Things didn't always go smoothly.
