This photograph is an original from Lisa Larsen with Life magazine taken in 1949. I believe it may be grace Kelly, but I cannot be sure. The blurred background also makes it difficult to tell whether it is a New York street setting. I obtained the photo in a prominent Kansas City suburb many years ago, and on magnifyed inspection, I believe the coat label which is visible says John Taylor's, which was a high end Dry goods and custom clothier in Kansas City which was taken over by Macy's in 1947

Her teeth are very similar to Grace Kelly's. Tough angle, though. Can't guess one way or the other... Gut reaction is "no".

How about this, Grace, having appeared on the cover of LIFE magazine a total of four times from 1954 - 1961, she first appeared on April 26, 1954
These are cover photos, but don't know if she was photographed in the Magazine before that! :^D Good Luck, and Stay Well! :^)

Thank you to all, Pretty well clarifies it is not GK. I may look to identify the city scene although blurred. It may well be from Kansas City and not New York. Perhaps they had K C featured in an issue around that date. As I stated I believe the jacket label states John Taylor's which was an upscale clothier in K C up until 1947.
