This is one of the first four models introduced in 1953. It was in the catalog until 1960 which was a long time for a Matchbox model. From 1953-58 it had red wheels which were switched to grey wheels in 1959. Thus this example was 1959/1960.
The hand wheel which is supposed to be on the left side has broken off but the hub is still there. Note on the top of the brace that holds up the bucket says "England" on one side and "Lesney" on the other. Lesney was the original manufacturer of Matchbox cars and almost all the Matchbox models I post are Lesney and made in England. Currently the name Matchbox is owned by mattel and it is now just a name.
