Is in the first 2 pics here. I noticed it (just buds) yesterday and that they appeared kinda pinkish and I thought to myself: "self, I thought those flowers were orange...??". The second 2 pics are in fact a couple of early blooms on the orange ones that this little patch of flowers produces each year (they'll turn into kinda towers of orange in another few weeks or so) but the pink was new...?

Looked closer just a little while ago and realized that the pink thing must be some variety of "popup" lily thing instead -- it is in fact just its own single stalk with the dramatic (so far) flowers just starting to go. I do occasionally get the red "spider lilies" (I think they're called?) out there nearby too, but I don't think I've ever seen one of these out there anywhere before, especially in the middle of the orange ones...??

Oh well...who can argue with free "FRESH FLOWERS", especially nowadays...? :-)

[Phre5d is also visible in the background of pic4...he and Phre5d Jr are otherwise thriving! :-) ]

The pretty little pink one is called a “Rain Lily”.... they have the delightful habit of suddenly emerging and blooming after a good rain.
Those orange canna lilies must be stunning when the whole bed of them blooms!
