This is the last of my cars from the G-5 Gift Set and probably the best of the bunch. It is the copper colored gas tank, turquoise color and brass trim that makes this one. Plus the black plastic top seems nicer than the tan tops of the others.
This was advertised as the "Classiest, snappiest, most comfortable two-passenger roadster built." It was an American made car, they were selling well but ran into trouble in the 1920s when Walter J Chrysler bought the company. Not sure what he did with it.
Back to the model and the copper gas tank, the real one also had a copper gas tank. Looks like it has a right hand drive. Has those controls which I think is the brake. I almost forgot the part about when it was made. First introduced in 1965 and made through 1973. The gift set was sold 1968 and 1969 so this one is from 1968-1969.
Please note how classy and snappy this model looks.
