Got another of the uncommon comics series Log Cabin syrup tins. These have the word balloons as seen on the comic pages. Apparently these were made from the 1930s until some time in the 1940s. This one is about 4 7/8" x 4 3/4" x 3 1/4". It holds 10 ounces if I read that correctly. That's what it looks like to me so I will go with that.
The graphics are what make this tin great. Got two sides of good graphics and two not so good. One side is just the Towle's Log Cabin with the Red background which is the logo. Also missing kind of is the chimney side. Got a couple word balloons there but are barely readable.
This one has some sort of varnish on it. That protects it but I am n ot big on that. Perhaps a flat finish varnish would help. But I do find the added varnish a bit distracting. I can tell something is there that should not be there. Not a fatal flaw at the price I paid.
This dealer has some others I don't have so perhaps I will run into him again.
Fun piece. They just don't make cool stuff like this anymore.

Made it to #3. Still has a shot at the top spot.
