Bought this somewhat beat up model for $3. In its day it was well done model but now it is missing a few parts. I am thinking of hanging it near my German figures as some background material.
This is a really interesting plane with its corrugated steel skin and three radial engines. Ford made a similar plane although it did not have a rear gunner like this one. That was probably effective in the 1930s but by WWII a fighter plane may have 8 .30 caliber machine guns. Maybe not so much on the early Russian front. These were used for airborne troops but the Germans stopped that after Crete. Of course it was also a cargo carrier. A bit more primitive than the C47.
Now if I can get another kit in this scale for a good price I can replace the missing pieces but I do have a lot of projects going on.
Excellent real looking WW2 German plane, great to have the pilots too

Cool plane and having projects are not a bad thing I found a 1919 tri-motor Ford in a collapsing old barn yes I brought it home a couple days later the barn went down
