I'm not sure what to think about this piece. I like the dragons and they look like Chinese dragons to me. I also like the rustic feel of this small plate, but i really don't know anything about it. Any info greatly appreciated!
far too diffecult for me , because we can,t rule out kitchen ware Ming imitations, i can,t explain the copper rim , i ran the Witte Leeuw cargo, doesn,t help me
i think its late Wanli , but i am just guessing , could be far off, you need a Ming expert
it does, not make sense what i stated a copper rim in an wanli period, this most be a sort of kangxi , i better stop assesing because i am talking bs all the time
these are bad assessments sorry and i got no excuse for it
nothing make sense even kangxi doesnot make sense , i am on this for houres , and all blunders in a row
1 still think it is 17 century
Thank you again apostata. I am still not sure about this one, but i hope you are correct. My best to you and yours in the new year.
this drives me mad , there is an whole debat going on about japanese arita kitchen ware , the corrosion made sense , but the craquele does, not, i resign
i watch this for ages , i can only find one explanation atypical Wanli around 1600 , and i ran a lot of databanks, so bring on the experts, for an academical contest
greeting WAki
the dragons are made the zhanghou way ( substantiation )
I AM A SUCKER, this is it , it are a clouds of pursuit scene (seadragons see bearded dragons), this is GOSU style, that also explains the kilngrit, its MING, 1600 is reasonable estimate, ( mangane is out this is old), this is underestimated
