From Guinea Pig to Lightening Rod

Yesterday I felt like I went from being a Guinea Pig to a Lightening Rod. First I went to Stevens Point to get my first covid shot. That was my Guinea Pig feeling. Since I got there with about two hours to spare I went to a local antique mall. Looking around I realized that there were far more President Trump medals available than I ever imagined. Based on his looks, I would guess the young the college aged attendant who opened the case for me would not be a Trump fan. I guess I will never know since he never let on one way or another. In any event I bought this medal. It is silver plated and very well done! Beneath the portrait at the tip of the neck is the letter T. The only T that I am familiar with on coins is for the Tabora Mint in German East Africa during WWI and I know this medal was not minted there. Anyone know what the letter T on this medal stands for? PS: I am sure it is not Trump either!

That's grumpy Trumpy OK. These were made by Alzcis Mint. I never heard of it either. You can find them in both gold and silver on eBay and Amazon for a few dollars but most don't sell.

Great to hear you got your first dose-- got mine on MON!

On our way as a nation-- averaging about 2 million doses a day with an upward trend!

Glad to hear your rec'd yours fhrjr2.

Got mine on FT Campbell at a large staging building near the airfield.

Very efficient as well. Took me about 12 minutes from parking to shot in the arm.

My oldest son just left Ft. Campbell and moved down to Bragg. He was a chief instructor at the air assault school up at Campbell. He wanted to move to see about training snipers. Not sure what is in his mind he has over 20 years.

      Good luck to him.

Thanks all! Aizics Mint seems to be a "mint " in name only. On a coin site I found that these Trump medals are being sold by Coincraft of London. I have known this company for decades and as a result I am certain that the T stands for Tower Mint, a private mint in London.
