That's how it was described on ebay - Fungus Flowers? They are very cool looking although i don't understand what they are. It's a small plate at 4 inches across.

on the left, the front of the plate are lingzi and on the back are lingzi , which is the xian ( lets say food) for the immortals, sacred fungus

actually its a sort of expressing longevity in the pictogram way

and the reason why they used this way of expressing is because, if you dry a fungus , it won,t perish soon

addendum and expressing immortality of course

they are kind of funny lingzhi, don't you think? little winged fungus flowers?!

its just daoism, it is all about symbolics, some people think it is soort of boletus ( aardappelboleet ), i am not an mycologist i think it is farfetched

I don,t recognize the mark , it made no sense to me , probably lack of skill

bit worried about the plate, got some doubts, its heavely stylised and they overstated the lingzhi in amount and in combination , i should expect a swirl garland or an combined daoist symbol combination garland

sure its legit , see the afterglare on the bottom and and the straycolored underrim on the bottom , also the oxidation turned to gray black , that,s ok , but i am not so flabbergasted about and the combination and the stylizing
