This new arrival has got it all, in my opinion...it's a basket, it's pink, it's by Welz, & it's a rare decor, Zig Zag lines.
You can rest assured that when I saw this as a buy it now on eBay AU, I pounced on it.
It is made from three layers of cased glass - clear over pink, with a white interior.
The basket measures around 16 cm tall, 12 cm across the widest part of the crimped top rim, & 6 cm across the footed base, which has a rough, snapped pontil mark. There is a clear applied twisted thorn handle.
In perfect condition.
I don't know if this officially makes me the Basket Boss, but I sure feel like one with this stunner in my collection!
