This is from the same décor family as Marin's recent post. The internal colour is only on the top inch and yet reflection/optical distortion carries it much further down the vase. This décor can also be found on rose bowls.

Many thanks for posting this, Peggy - it's great to see another example of this decor in a different shape & colour!

OK so I adored Marin's but, don't tell her, I like this better. And that's when hers was in my favourite colour! (You know she won't be hurt)
The shape of this works so well with the decor and the way the colour almosts bleeds down the body.
      So lovely, Peggy.

Karen, I'm sorry to say that the only thing I'm hurt by is being misgendered.

My apologies, Peggy for having to make this comment - please feel free to delete it if you wish. I just needed to speak up about this mistake.

No problems Marin. I will only delete if you wish it.
As to this post I was just glad that you liked the vase and didn't see my post as infringing on yours in any way.

p.s. Marin, you can find these in Pepita colours as well, so eyes peeled!

Karen, Glad you like it. Certainly the wider they are, and the stronger the opalescence, the more colour diffusion you get. I've had it for years, just never gave it a post of its own!

Oh no, Peggy - not infringing mine at all, it's fab to see this decor in any form, as I've only just become acquainted with it!

Yeah I reread that Marin and apologise profusely.
Not something I should get wrong, I know better!!
Once a comment is up on CW I can't get it back!!!!
      Sorry mate.

Can I blame drugs? Had a knee replacement a few days ago, on big meds.
      Nah, can't blame drugs.
Peggy please delete all or any of this as you see fit.
