OK curling fans, picked up an antique powder flask on Evilbay for a low price. Have been wanting on with an adjustable measuring spout for a long time. Middle setting pours 60 grains and the other 2 settings don't differ either way no more than 5-6 grains. Now I have this for my Pyrodex for the charge in muzzle loading guns and my other old Colt flask for real black powder for priming flintlock pans. Pyrodex doesn't work in flintlock pans.
Realizing that I only had 3 pix of the flask, I threw in a pic of the marina security guard next to my new dingy prop.. That will be the fastest dingy on the Island when I get it mounted on my outboard ! Friends have suggested that I need a larger dingy, but I know what I'm doing. Another day on CyberAsylum ! As expected, no category for guns, shooting, blunderbusses, flintlocks etc..
OK! OK!, maybe those yachties aren't so stupid ! I think I just needed more ballast in the front, er, pointed end, er, bow. Yeah, bow, that's it ! Maybe a little too much weight in the dull end, or whatever it's called. Not easy to remember all those nautical terms when your heard is hanging over the side watching 2 days worth of what you had eaten being dived at by sea gulls in the wake ! LOL !! My favourite part of sailing is reaching port.
Have a nice next no-name holiday, friends.
Welcome back, BB !!.!.!!
A picture of your outboard could be interesting BB, something with 12 cylinders? :)
Aw, vetraio, last time I was wanted, I had to wait for the Statute de Limitations to expire. Quit collecting and just spending my time harassing the villagers. Another day on "The Friendly 'fk'n' Island".
Sure glad you explained this one. I figured you were sick and getting ready for a blast of an enema. Whew, thanks :)
Actually fhr, when I was told a few yrs. back that I was going to soon have a heart attack, I gave away or sold about everything. The day I was released from hospital, hurricane Irma hit SXM and blew my business at the French airport away. Doesn't make much sense for me to start collecting again. "And the beat goes on". Well, I have picked up 3 motorcycles. I'm going to be a fireman when I grow up.
just make sure I'm in your will........................................Hope ya got a lot of cash set aside...'-)) make them all suffer, drag it out like me....lol would this flask hold scotch ....? later
Damon, you could up my cash if you bought my Sportster. Right now, the € is looking safer than the $usd. BTW, I quit drinking hard stuff over 30 yrs ago on requests from friends. LOL ! Keep your powder dry. You may need it soon.
BB2, I totally trust your expertise to get the prop on your dingy working perfectly fine, no matter how big it is. Don't believe the naysayers.
[...speaking of saying, waitaminnit... what did I just say...?? yeesh, and I quit drinking the hard stuff, too...?? <lol>]
I know it will work, - I don't care what those yachties say ! I'll show them !

It's the 883cc. From a little ole lady who just rode it to church on Sundays. I'll post it next week. Uncle Joe says climate change is the biggest threat today. I say it's the presidential change. Sure glad I don't live on Uncle Sambo's Plantation !
Beautiful flask and that's one big prop bb2! Good stuff!!!
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas big hugs
Same especially, back to you Mani, and the other hanger-ons at this popsicle stand.
your #4 photo looks like a water recliner for watching a regatta.
