Lucky LUCY earns her name

FIRST -- my apologies in advance for those here that tire of 'puppy pictures' being shown instead of my normal junk. Please just click on by, the junk will resume soon enough and there's a few other folks here that don't mind my occasional showings of what's become my "dog collection". :-) :-) :-)

Pics here are Lucy. (either Lucille or Lucifer, the jury is still out on that...) She's had a wild week where she's earned her other nickname "Lucky". Pic #1 is last Tuesday, she had been looking (feeling) icky and not eating since Monday, by the time I got home from an out of town work trip, we found her curled up in a ball and looking positively horrible. A hasty visit to the Veterinarian proved she was suffering from parvo, she was admitted to the doggy hospital immediately for treatment. That's pic 1, which could have easily been the last photo I ever took of her if things hadn't gone well, but she *did* respond to the treatment and improved enough to be released to come home earlier today -- that's what pics 2 and 3 are, still in her Dr's office when she was first brought back to me. (and in her excitement promptly puddled on the floor, but that's all normal and good!)

Somebody sure loves her daddy NOW... ? ;-) ;-) ;-) :-) :-) :-)

Coming soon -- she doesn't know it yet but she's going to get to come *into the house* in a little while, where she's gonna get to learn what the bathtub is and does -- presuming a little success with that, she might also get to actually *sleep/stay* in the house overnight, ifn's she'll allow herself to behave and eventually go into the cage (at the foot of the bed) whenever I get tired and try to fall down for the rest of the night myself...??
