Art Pottery Peacock is painted with bright vivid colors here. Know very little about this piece. Not sure about the mark on base. This could very well be from Mexico. Anyone who recognizes this piece or makers mark, could share if they like please and Thank you !!!

The marking on the bottom has an Egyptian hieroglyphic look to me…..I hope you get some solid info; mine is just so-so. ;^)

Even tho I can’t give solid info on the lovely peacock, I can tell you exactly how to fix the problem pictures.
      Do this:
One your device with which you took the pictures, edit each picture slightly by changing the dimensions, even very slightly will work- or enlarge the subject….that also will work.

Next step: Edit your CW post by removing each posted picture and replace them with your newly-edited versions.
Like magic, the pictures will show up corrrectly oriented.

I take all my pictures with my phone- it took me some trial and error to figure that out…. It seems phone pictures always post sideways unless you do a tad of editing first.
      Hope that helps!

I think the mark is Asian, possibly Thai or Vietnamese?
But could also be Chinese, since they seem to be producing 95% of decorative ceramics entering the market.

My comment is about 2 years past due but I do believe that might be a Japanese piece, maybe rather valuable!
