I found some nice Treasures at the Flea Market Today. I Posted A Ruffle Top Handblown Glass Vase, A Double Goard Bronze Chinese Dragon Vase, and A Studio Pottery Weed Pot Vase with a Malachite Like Glaze.
The Glass could be Bristol, Mount Washington, or Fenton the Decoration has Tiny Fused Glass Beads over it, and a snapped Pontil
The Bronze/Brass Vase Looks to be Chinese Dragons but I don't know what the Bottom mark says
The Pottery Vase bottom mark is "J" between 3-X's left, right, and above in a Shield
Thank You for Looking, All Comments, and information about this post are Welcome, and appreciated! Bill :^)
The double gourd in the middle is missing a top I think... By the dragon ..Chinese. I like the one on the right...green glazing almost looks like birds..
Thanks for Your Comment dav2no1, in my search I saw some had a top on them, and You are probably right that the top is missing on mine, but the Decoration does go all the way around the top, so not sure! :^D
Thank You for stopping by for a look, and the love for what You saw, dav2no1, Brian, Blammoammo, and Jenni, it's apprecaited! Bill :^)
The beaded decoration on the lovely ruffle top glass vase is called coralene. Also Bristol, England never had a glassworks, though a lot of cargo was shipped from there to America.
the chinese is zuande nian zhi abbrevitation ( 1426-1435) in the Zuanshu archaic script IMO this is not right way to write ( see symbol right under)
cute vase but new
I think that the snapped pontil on the first vase rules out Fenton. I really like all three vases.
