De plane! De plane! The plane was actually lowered into the lagoon which is located in Arcadia. Arcadia is a suburb east of Pasadena in Los Angeles County and is in no way an island. The northern boundry is the 210 freeway.
The famous house is the Queen Anne Cottage built by Lucky Baldwin in 1885. Although Baldwin lived in the nearby Reid Adobe. He built the house for his wife, or one of them. There is also a matching carriage house which I will post later. The Queen Anne Cottage is currently undergoing restoration. Looks like they are reinforcing the tower.
The second photo is where the boathouse seen on Fantasy Island was. Sadly it burned down but the original foundation remains. I think the boathouse has been replaced 2 or 3 times.
The area to the north of the house is where many Tarzan movies were filmed. You can hear the ancestors of the current peacocks in the background.

Thank you very much Phil. It is that.

Thank you very much Scott. I can see them by the front door greeting visitors. Plus I can watch the show and see them teleported somewhere completely different.
