This is a super piece of Victorian art glass that I'm so pleased to welcome into my collection.
Made from clear glass with alternating yellow & white stripes, it is fine example of the "Cleveland Stripe" pattern, also seen on glass fairy lamp domes. It measures 23 cm tall, around 10 cm across the deeply crimped J.I.P style top rim, & 9 cm across the clear circular applied base.
Signs of shelf wear & a small chip on the base are easily overlooked on a vase this stunning.
Possibly of English origin, 1880s.
Beautiful Victorian era vase!!
Many thanks, Scott!
