      Yes, this 1908 Liberty nickel has seen better days, but then so have I. >8-0

      P. S. I found this from the numista dot com listing quite interesting:

      The word 'CENTS' had to be added since people would dip the version of this coin with no 'CENTS' in gold and pass it off as a $5 gold coin.
