      an decapitated ruyi head ( chinese scepter) border at top and an so called traffic light border below

      the revival period of the ruyi heads are around 1890, but this is not even to it ( you can compare to and black and white white shading of birds of the guanghu period

      the combination is highly sprious, you might think the ruyi heads are painted actually the chances are big this might be transfer

      because pressing paint by means of an template is also transfer its like what kids do with a coloring book

      i think the more expensive pieces got tactile congruency ( like raised enamel or frotte etc )

      so i think this vase is made during the PROC period something like 1960 or something like that
