    Found this at a thrift shop today. Seems pretty old, has some rust spots in the glaze showing the iron. No markings from what I could see. There’s an odd shaped blue mark on the bottom rim, not saying it’s a marking but seems like and odd shape to me like a fish or plant. Very heavy piece, has a shallow bowl but a deep bottom. This plate measures 13 1/4” in diameter. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

      one way or another this is ok , the question could be is this late edo blue taisho period is cancelled , corrosion of the blue is also argentum let,s stick to early meijji,

      @Apostata , wow early Edo period. So like 1680-1700? If so it’s much older than predicted.
