This is a first for me, Tango Glass in a silver stand with spoon. It's destined for my collection of Tango Glass tableware where maker isn't an issue. That said going on the rim shape and the snapped off pontil scar I suspect Welz. However I may never find the same bowl shape in a known Welz décor which would prove it to be Welz.
Bowl Diameter 14.5 cm./5.75 inches
Height to top of frame 15.5 cm./6 inches
This is super, Peggy! I've never seen a Tango glass version of this more typically Victorian setting for a glass bowl...really unusual!
It is a beauty!!

My thoughts too, Marin. In fact the mixing of two seemingly disparate genres only adds to my suspicion that it may be Welz.
Thank you, Scott. I've never seen anything like it before and it's undoubtedly tableware!
Wonderful Peggy! I really like the hanging spoon. I wonder what would have been served this? :)
Thanks, Michelle, I assumed sugar. However thinking of Cornish cream teas I
suppose jam or whipped cream might also be possibilities.
Peggy, I could eat Cornish cream teas all day! :)
Michelle, I remember the photos of your holiday in Cornwall and it seems you enjoyed more than the scenery!
So bright and cheerful..
Thanks, Penny, it is indeed. :)
