It's a badged machine. Here is a different model of Beaumark sewing machine made by Pfaff:

Beaumark, now defunct, was a Canadian appliance company that sold a whole range of large and small household appliances in places like the Hudson's Bay stores. I remember buying a Beaumark blender from one in the 1980's. Beaumark didn't make those appliances though. They bought them from other companies and had their names put on them.

Your machine isn't necessarily made by Pfaff. There might be clues to the maker on the undercarriage.

charmsomeone, This is one of the problems with text: it frequently fails to convey meaning.
I wasn't being sarcastic. What I was trying to say is that some of the information I provided is probably well-known to Canadians, e.g., that Beamark was a line of appliances sold under the Hudson's Bay Company umbrella.
Most people in the U.S.A. would recognize the name Hudson's Bay Company. Not so with Beamark.
D'oh! "Beamark" should have been "Beaumark."
