This is the same shirt designed by Dino Del La Renta from the early 1980s but the patches switched to the subdued patches. These are the same sewsign but the background color is the same as the shirt. Looks like the Council Patch is not subdued though as we start off with the left sleeve.
The left sleeve in this case has the Mid-Iowa council patch which is quite colorful plus the troop number and position patch. The position patch here is troop leader.
The left pocket has the rank which is tenderfoot. I should change that patch to a higher rank. It also had the Arrow of Light patch which is carried over from Cub Scouts.
Last is the right shoulder. Originally it just had the Patrol Patch which here is the dreaded Cobra Patrol plus the flag patch (standard on all uniforms since the early 1970s) and a pair of exceptional unit patches. Lots of flair on the right sleeve now.
Cody will demonstrate how the young hipster wears a boy scout shirt without being a boy scout soon or perhaps eventually.
