I have seen other ruby flashed items before usually with a name and date etched in the red. But I am not sure of this pattern. It is 3 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Any ideas?

ruby stained (not flashed) was often used for souvenirs as it is easily etched.
Thanks for the info TallCakes.
Looks like a spooner.
Ruby stained, not flashed.
Flashing involves dipping a gather of one color of glass into another and then blowing the item into shape, it's a very common mistake in glass collecting and selling where people who know little about glassmaking just copy incorrect info from others who use the term wrong.
Flashed glass is often confused with cased glass, which can look similar, but casing glass involves blowing out a glass gather, cutting it open and then blowing another gather of glass inside of it and the two layers fuse together.
Forgot to paste the info into my message above.
