    (1003 items)

Seen on an awning a few years ago at Abe Solomon's scrapyard in Wilkes-Barré, PA (the item is no longer there).

The scrapyard occupies the site and much of the buildings of the former Vulcan property.

This large metal piece looks like a builder's plate for one of Vulcan's products. Vulcan built equipment for the mining and railroad industries.

Hello Ted, Very interesting..Vulcan, a God in ancient civilization..In Birmingham, Alabama stands the tallest iron ore statue..of Vulcan.
At one time, Birmingham was nicknamed "The Pittsburgh Of The South", with the Bessemer steel process that sprang up in the area, an area with the right natural elements.
      Again, Intresting Ted for sure.

Thank, Cisum, your input is much appreciated. I am attaching a story of the Vulcan Iron works for your, and the other viewers' review. Such things truly hold my interest, and I sense that others may also have a liking for this topic.
